Project Runway – Front Row – Fall 2013 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week

The world of magazines has always intrigued. From film (The Devil Wears Prada) to the television (The Hills) and more, including Web series and more, the world of publishing — especially the world of fashion publishing — has always held a mystique about it. The editors are ominous, the process complicated, the clothes amazing. Just a select few ever get to peek inside the real world of magazines, and even fewer get to stay there long enough to make a real impact. With the introduction of Glossi, an online platform that debuted just eight months ago, everyone has the chance to be in publishing. No experience is necessary, just an idea. Users are encouraged to create magazines, lookbooks, cookbooks and more on Glossi. But how does it one-up real-life magazines? Glossi is completely immersive, meaning editors can include video, music and more, giving their readers a full-blown experience with each turn, ahem, click of the page. Here are our favorite Glossis to give you some insight into Fashion Week and some inspiration to start your own. Keep a look out for our own Glossi, the Fall Fashion Issue, for a full look at this season’s biggest trends in fashion, beauty, menswear and Fashion Trends Daily’s newest addition: home.

Everyone is invited to start their own Glossi, so head over to their Web site to start publishing your own.

Not all Glossis are about fashion. DKNY and DKNY PR Girl may have a fashion background, but fans of Donna herself know that she’s an art aficionado as well as a designers. Learn more about DKNY Art Works, one of her side endeavors, in a Glossi dedicated solely to Donna’s pet project:

Of course Queen of Media Rachel Zoe has hopped onto Glossi. She’s just starting out, but she’s already got a wedding-centric Glossi. We love her beauty Glossi, with tips from her hair and makeup guru Joey:
