It’s Mother’s Day this sunday and what better time to say ‘I love you mum, here is a gift to say thank you!’.
My mum does loads for my family and I, yet she rarely buys anything for herself. So it’s nice to treat your mum to something nice, because chances are, she won’t do it for herself.
Here is a selection of things I think my mum will love, I wanted to share them with you all, in case it gives you inspiration for your mum!
I’m a huge fan of scented candles, but my mum is crazy for them. That’s probably why I hoard candles and burn them in pretty much every room of my flat, like mother like daughter! From Neom to True Grace, Jo Malone London to Diptyque, I can’t get enough and nor can she!
My mum loves True Grace candles as they always smell so fresh and clean. They are particularly lovely for the daytime! She loves the scent, Seashore, so I know she would love the Thyme scent. My mum is a great cook, so I know the coconut scent would be perfect for afternoons of drinking tea and baking cakes. True Grace candles always make a lovely gift and they are a great price too. Neom candles are another big favourite of my mums, this Love candle is fresh and floral but a little more luxurious as it is a three wick candle. Perfect for filling the room with scent quickly!
Personally, I love the rich and luxurious scents of Jo Malone London. I love their selection of perfumes and I wish I could have one in every room of my flat! My current favourite is the Red Roses candle and don’t forget they make diffusers too! I also love the scents of Diptyque candles, I know my mum would adore the Fig or Jasmine scents.

Good skin care products always make a great gift. Not only is beautiful skin care a joy to use, but you can see and feel the effect. It’s a gift that keeps giving! While my mum always uses good skin care products, I love buying her new products by new brands in particular moisturisers and eye creams. I’m a big fan of Jurlique products, their Rose Body oil is divine, and I know she will love this eye cream, balancing mist and hand cream. I have used all these products and they really give great effects while being luxurious to use. The packing is beautiful too, and looks like a great gift, while the products are beautiful and really enjoyable up use! Perfect!
I saw my mum the other night and she was drooling over the scarf I was wearing (read my blog post about my outfit here) by Shinerock. I know my mum would love one herself! It basically does everything body brushing does, and a whole lot more besides; like deep cleansing your skin, increasing collagen in skin, firmer & tighter skin and can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. You can also use it on your face, which is really exciting, you can’t do this with body brushing, it is kind of amazing! My mum *had* to have this gadget, she loves it and loves the results. I’m sure your mum will too! While it’s not a gift I can give her, I think it’s a great product for any mum!
