All of our favorite celeb millennials brought out their best beauty looks for ‘Variety’ magazine’s Power of Young Hollywood event in Los Angeles on August 16. From Elle Fanning’s ethereal glow to Ariel Winter’s grungy smokey eye, get the details on the best hair and makeup looks, ahead!
Not only are the celebrities being honored in Variety‘s Power of Young Hollywood issue seriously inspiring, but at last night’s event, they also proved they’re seriously stylish. Covering every beauty trend imaginable, from updos and tousled waves to clean skin and bold lips, there was at least one hair and makeup look to love for every beauty preference.
As one of the night’s honorees, Elle Fanning had one of our favorite looks. Back to her icy blonde locks after a brief pink period this summer, Elle’s hairstylist and colorist, Jenda Alcorn, styled her hair in a sleek blowout. Parted down the center with lots of shine, for the rest of her look, makeup artist Erin Monroe concentrated on glowing skin with RMS Living Luminizer and a frosty pink lip.
Going the opposite route was Modern Family star Ariel Winter, who went with an edgier style. Wearing a cleavage-baring crop top, Ariel wore her long, dark locks in undone waves and made a smudged out smokey eye the star of her beauty look.

Actress Peyton List also opted for a bold beauty look, rocking a classic red lip and long lashes. Wearing her blonde hair in a top knot, from the front Peyton’s style looked like your average updo. But in the back, she was sporting three boxer braids that ran from the nape of her neck to join the rest of her hair. Also opting for a bold lip was actress Danielle Campbell, who kept her long, dark locks in loose waves and matched her bright red lipstick to her nails.
Actress Sophie Turner also opted for an updo, wearing her hair in a high ponytail with lots of curls and a barely-there makeup look that showed off her amazing skin. We also loved Olivia Holt‘s fresh-faced look. Focusing on clean, glowing skin, hairstylist Marissa Marino took a break from styling Selena Gomez‘s curls on her Revival tour to create the chicest low knot we’ve ever seen for Olivia.
