Where did last week go? I swear I woke up and all of a sudden it was Saturday again! I had another fairly busy week and I’m really looking forward to a slow one someday. Not sure when that’ll happen though! Let’s see – I kicked off the week looking for jobs and updating my resume. I’ve all but officially thrown in the towel on grad school. I’m just so burnt out and I really can’t seem to find the motivation to care about anything related to my field right now. So it’s time to find a job! I’ve also been busy this week with a volunteer position I have every summer. I help the local Upward Bound programs with their Academic Bowl Competition by coordinating the contest. There are 11 subjects and I write all the tests for the contest, including answer sheets, administrative keys, and compile all the materials. The contest is this upcoming Friday and then the awards ceremony is on Saturday, so I’ll be super busy with that this next week.

I’m trying to push myself quickly through a book that I’ve got on my calendar for review this upcoming Friday – that will be my first COYER Review. I also sat down this week and got myself a full week ahead with everything except things that can’t be done in advance (but I have them started too!). I had been three weeks ahead a few months ago and it was so much easier to maintain the blog, but I fell behind and everything suffered. So I’m thrilled to be ahead again and hopefully will get back to three weeks soon. Anyway, that’s it for me, y’all have a great week!
