May’s Goal

My goal since March has been $30 or less and I’m surprised how easy I am finding it is to stick to that goal. I’ve tried really hard to stop buying books unless I have immediate plans to read them and I’m really working to use my library. This month there was a really good audible 3 for 2 credits sale, so I used quite a few credits, but that’s what I have them for, right?

I also had a book emergency on May 31st (as in I almost made it without paying too much for a book!). I was stuck sitting around for hours without a book to read and my phone on it’s last life (meaning, no more audible). I had to run to walmart anyway and what did I do? I bought a book! Walmart is not the best place to buy a book – their selection is pretty pathetic and since they tend to only have those books that are either best sellers and/or being made into movies the prices are high. But I NEEDED book. So I bought one I’ve been wanting to read for a while and have been putting off because I didn’t feel like crying a lot – A Fault in Our Stars. So far it’s worth every penny and I’ve laughed a ton – haven’t cried a bit.

Anyway… let’s see how I did!
