After John Doe graduated from high school, he began attending Texas A&M University. He graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a commission as an Ensign in the United States Navy via the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps. While at Texas A&M, John decided he wanted be a surface warfare officer. Soon after receiving his commission, he was sent to the Division Officer Course at Surface Warfare Officer School in Newport, Rhode Island. Afterwards, he was assigned to the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Gettysburg (CG-64) as a weapons department division officer

After John Doe graduated from high school, he began attending the United States Naval Academy. He graduated from the Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering and a commission as an Ensign in the United States Navy. While at the Academy, John decided he wanted to be a submarine officer. Soon after receiving his commission, he was sent to Nuclear Power School (NPS) in Charleston, South Carolina. After NPS, John reported to Nuclear Power Training Unit, Charleston. Following that, he attended the Submarine Officer's Basic course at the Naval Submarine School in Groton, Connecticut. Afterwards, John was assigned to the Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine the USS West Virginia (SSBN-736) as an engineering department division officer

After John Doe graduated from high school, he began attending the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He graduated from MIT with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a commission as an Ensign in the United States Navy via the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps. While at MIT, John decided that he wanted to be a Navy SEAL. Soon after his commission as an Ensign, he began Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) training, which was followed by basic parachute training at the U.S Army Airborne School. John then moved on to SEAL Qualification Training. Following his completion of SQT, he attended SEAL Delivery Vehicle School. Afterwards, John was placed on board SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team 1 as an assistant platoon commander. Following his tour with SDVT-1, he was assigned to SEAL Team 8, where he serves as a platoon commander.

After John Doe graduated from high school, he began attending the Georgia Institute of Technology. He graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a commission as an Ensign in the United States Navy via the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps. While at Georgia Tech, John decided to become a fighter pilot. Soon after receiving his commission, John was sent to the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida for Aviation Preflight Indoctrination. He then went on to Primary Flight Training at Naval Air Station Whiting Field in Milton, Florida. After that, John began Intermediate Training at Naval Air Station Kingsville in Texas. There he attended jet training. Once John graduated from flight school, he proceeded to Strike Fighter Squadron 106 (VFA-106) at Naval Air Station Oceana for F/A-18 Hornet training. Following that, John was assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron 146 (VFA-146) at Naval Air Station Lemoore as an F/A-18C fighter pilot. In this capacity, he deploys aboard the USS Nimitz (CVN-68) as part of Carrier Air Wing 11 (CVW 11).

Soon after receiving his commission, John was sent to the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida for Aviation Preflight Indoctrination. He then went on to Primary Flight Training at Naval Air Station Whiting Field in Milton, Florida. After that, John began Intermediate Training at Naval Air Station Kingsville in Texas. There he attended jet training. Once John graduated from flight school, he proceeded to Patrol Squadron Thirty (VP-30) at Naval Air Station Jacksonville for P-3C Orion training. Following that, John was assigned to Patrol Squadron 46 (VP-46) based at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island as a P-3C Orion pilot.

Soon after receiving his commission as an Ensign, he began a five-month basic course of instruction at the Navy and Marine Corps Intelligence Training Center. After graduating from basic intelligence training, he was assigned to Electronic Attack Squadron 130 (VAQ-130) as an aviation intelligence officer. In that capacity, he deploys aboard the USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75).

He then reported to Training Squadron 10 (VT-10) for Primary Naval Flight Officer training. Upon completion of Primary training, John moved on to Intermediate training, which involved jet training. After that, he went on to Advanced Flight Training. Once John graduated from flight school, he proceeded to Electronic Attack Squadron One Two Nine (VAQ-129) at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island for EA-6B Prowler training. Following that, John was assigned to Electronic Attack Squadron 131 (VAQ-131) based at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island as an Electronic Countermeasures Officer in an EA-6B Prowler. He graduated from VMI with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a commission as an Ensign in the United States Navy via the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps. While at VMI, John decided to become an information warfare officer. Soon after receiving his commission as an Ensign, he went on to the Information Warfare Officer Basic Course at the Naval Technical Training Center Corry Station in Pensacola, Florida. Afterwards, John was assigned to Navy Information Operations Command Hawaii.

After John Doe graduated from high school, he began attending the United States Naval Academy. He graduated from the Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a commission as an Ensign in the United States Navy. While at the Academy, John decided he wanted to be an explosive ordnance disposal officer. Soon after receiving his commission, he attended the Explosive Ordnance Disposal/Diver course at Naval Diving and Salvage Center in Panama City, Florida and then went on to EOD training at Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal at Eglin Air Force Base. After EOD training, John was assigned as a division officer to a detachment in EOD Mobile Unit Three in San Diego, California.

While at Embry-Riddle, John decided he wanted be a helicopter pilot. Soon after receiving his commission, John was sent to the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida for Aviation Preflight Indoctrination. He then went on to Primary Flight Training at Naval Air Station Whiting Field in Milton, Florida. After that, John began Intermediate Training concentrating in Radio Instruments and IFR/VFR Navigation. Upon completing Intermediate Flight Training in the TH-57B/C, John proceeded to Advanced Helicopter Flight Training in the TH-57 Sea Ranger. After John graduated from flight school, he proceeded to Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light 40 (HSL-40) at Naval Station Mayport for SH-60 Seahawk training. Following that, John was assigned to Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Fourteen (HS-14) at Naval Air Facility Atsugi as an SH-60F Seahawk pilot. In this capacity, he deploys aboard the USS George Washington (CVN-73) as part of Carrier Air Wing Five (CVW-5).

After John Doe graduated from high school, he began attending the United States Naval Academy. He graduated from the Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in English and a commission as an Ensign in the United States Navy. While at the Academy, John decided that he wanted to become a public affairs officer. Soon after receiving his commission as an Ensign, he attended the Public Affairs Officer Qualification Course at the Defense Information School. Afterwards, John was assigned as the assistant public affairs officer to the USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70). He was later assigned to the Public Affairs Office at Naval Base Coronado.

After John Doe graduated from high school, he began attending the United States Naval Academy. He graduated from the Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a commission as an Ensign in the United States Navy. John then began attending the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. After earning his medical degree, he went through a year-long internal medicine internship at Naval Medical Center San Diego. Afterwards, John was assigned as a general medical officer to Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. After his tour at Camp Lejeune, he returned to Naval Medical Center San Diego to complete his residency in internal medicine. Upon obtaining his certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine, John went on to attend undersea medical officer training at the Naval Undersea Medical Institute. Afterwards, he was assigned as an undersea medical officer to the submarine tender, USS Emory S. Land (AS-39).
