Fall has finally arrived in the tri-state — brightly colored and falling leaves, chilly and drizzly weather, football, Halloween costumes, trick or treaters and…..pumpkins! Carved pumpkins, painted pumpkins, pumpkin spiced lattes and muffins – and not one of them can hold a candle to the tastiest and best-known pumpkin of all: Frisch’s Pumpkin Pie!
If you are like me, and grew up in this area, then chances are you’ve eaten your fair share of Frisch’s Pumpkin Pie over the years. It was an amazing day! Besides the pie making process, I also got to check out the onion room (and WOO was it onion-y!), the soup room (BIG vats of made in house soup), and so much more. I love knowing that all of the food we order at Frisch’s is created in one place, which means consistency – no matter which of the 120 locations of Frisch’s that you decide to dine at, you’ll receive the same high-quality meal. And they even have their own truck fleet, so their delicious food items are always being tended to by a Frisch’s employee. The employees we met while on our tour were wonderful and most have been working there for many years. That’s loyalty!
