Balinese Dance Class Clifton Cultural Arts Center 3711 Clifton Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45220 $8 per class meeting ”The Clifton Cultural Arts Center is opening a Balinese dance class for beginners. A Balinese dancer uses nearly every part of their body, including the face, to express such emotions such as joy, anger, and sorrow. Balinese dancer Kamellia will teach Pendet, an eight-minute long welcoming dance that includes many of the basic movements used in Balinese dance. Students will learn the dance in 10 weeks plus one for a performance. In this class, students will learn how to shape the basic posture, how to move the eyes and the arms, and finally, how to synchronize all the steps with Balinese traditional music.
