  The Baker Spartans traveled to Wolf Point to play the Wolves Sept. 4 and defeated them 36-6.

During the first quarter, Austin Braun received a 20 yard pass from Luke Gonsioroski to make the first touchdown of the game, the PAT pass from Luke to Jordan Baxter was successful. Luke Gonsioroski scored on a one yard run, and the PAT failed. Then Keegan Kary made a nine yard run, and the PAT pass from Luke to Austin made the score 22-0. Luke scored on a three yard run and Keegan Kary ran in the end zone for another successful PAT, ending the first quarter 30-0.

Neither team scored during the second quarter. In the third quarter, Jordan Baxter scored on a 44 yard pass from Luke Gonsioroski, the PAT failed. Wolf Point scored on a one yard run to make the score 36-6. During the fourth quarter no one scored and the game ended 36-6.

For rushing on offense, Luke Gonsioroski was 15/120, Dalton Herbst 6/35, and the team totaled 31/178 yards. Luke passed the ball for 10-17/192 yards, and Nic Bohle connected with Luke twice for 44 yards. They totaled 10 catches for 192 yards.

The Spartans had an outstanding defensive game. Andrew Craft had 16 tackles, Isaac Rost 9 and Kaden Gentilini 7. Ben Fujimori, Andrew Craft, and Isaac Rost each had a quarterback sack. Trevor Griffith had one interception, and Matt Packer and Ben Fujimori each had a fumble recovery.

Baker hosted the Glasgow Scotties Sept. 11 and triumphed over the Scotties 40-0. Joe Fisher scored the first touchdown of the game on a five yard run and Luke Gonsioroski kept the ball and ran in for the PAT. Dalton Herbst scored next on a 15 yard run and Luke ran in for another successful PAT. Ben Fujimori scored a safety by tackling the quarterback, ending the first quarter.

The Spartans started the second quarter with Luke Gonsioroski scoring on an eight yard run. The PAT run failed, making the score 24-0. Luke scored again with another quarterback keeper on a 49 yard run and ran in for a successful PAT. Luke then connected with Nic Bohle on a 54 yard pass, and Nic also scored two on a PAT pass from Luke. This was the final score of the game, as no points were scored during the third and fourth quarters.

Offensively, Luke Gonsioroski rushed 17/154 yards, Dalton Herbst rushed 5/68, and the team was 35 for 251 rushing yards. Luke passed 9/15 for 126 yards. Nic Bohle received 3/70 yards, Austin Braun 3/35 yards, and Jordan Baxter 1/10 yards.

On the defensive side, Andrew Craft led the team with 12 tackles, while Matt Packer and Ben Fujimori each had 7. Ben Fujimori, Dillon Cunningham and Andrew each had a quarterback sack, Nic Bohle and Jordan Baxter each had an interception.

The Spartans will travel to Worden to play the Huntley Project Red Devils Sept. 18.
