Family and Community Engagement (FACE) is excited to announce a new guidebook designed to assist families navigating the SchoolChoice process. Even though SchoolChoice Round One occurs in January, many families are right now attending tours, calling schools and meeting with neighbors. The new guidebook is designed to help families, alongside their students, evaluate what is important to them in choosing a school.
The guidebook will be available the week of November 14th on the FACE website. The guidebook will also be available as a hard copy and distributed capacity through the FACE office and through Choice and Enrollment Centers. Aunque la primera ronda de EscojoMiEscuela tiene lugar en enero, muchas familias ya están haciendo visitas guiadas, llamando a las escuelas y reuniéndose con los vecinos. La nueva guía está diseñada para ayudar a las familias, y a sus estudiantes, a evaluar lo que es importante para ellos al escoger una escuela.
