Cut Lavender was the central theme of Jenna and Sandro’s sweet New Jersey summer wedding. From their invitations and stamps to the groom’s boutonniere and the bride’s stunning bouquet, this lavender and purple wedding at The Park Savoy Estate was perfectly infused with one of the world’s favorite flowering plants.

Jenna chose to have her bridesmaids wear purple in the style of their choice. And as a special touch, the groomsmen wore purple ties smartly accented with lavender and mint Argyle socks.

And with the lovely Mikkel of Mikkel Paige Photography on hand to capture these beautiful images, what a wonderful summer wedding it was indeed!

From photographer Mikkel:

Jenna and Sandro met years ago, at Rider University. Though they waited years for their wedding day, they opted to wait just a bit longer to see one another. They didn’t do a first look but it was a great opportunity to do a first look, of sorts, with Jenna and her father. It was fun to see his reaction as her tearful beautiful bridesmaids looked on at the bottom of the staircase. Her plunging v-neck white Pronovias gown was hand beaded with a floral motif – perfect for a daytime, summer wedding. Her hair wrapped around in a classic braid with a glamorous curl of hair hanging by her cheek. Glittery silver and gold metallic Ivanka Trump heels sparkled on her feet. She truly was a head-to-toe vision.

Their ceremony was held outdoors, on the gorgeous grounds of The Park Savoy. Everything was vibrant and in full bloom! Their cocktail hour continued both indoors and out, with a grill station set up on the patio for guests to enjoy the weather. The reception was held indoors while warm daylight shone through the ballrooms windows as guests watched the bride and groom’s first dance to “Evergreen” by The Black Crowes. The bride even surprised guests by changing into a sequined white dress she was more able to more around in. Their choreographed Venetian Waltz, which reflected the groom’s Italian heritage, ended in a picturesque dip. Several family members from Italy were in attendance to cheer them on!

Thanks for stopping by!
