Keke Palmer

The 20-year-old actress and singer is poised to become the youngest talk show host in history.

BET Networks is targeting young adults with a new daily talk show which will be hosted by Keke Palmer. The show is scheduled to start airing during a four-week test run that will produce shows from Monday to Friday beginning in July, as Deadline reports.

Palmer will invite celebrities to join her for sit-down interviews while the show will also include various segments on topics ranging from pop culture to social issues. The show will be produced by Telepictures and Mathis Productions, a company owned by Judge Greg Mathis.

Palmer’s show is to join BET’s other female-run collective talk shows such as The Wendy Williams Show and The Queen Latifah Show. Over the years, Palmer boasts of major roles in films and shows such as – Akeelah and the Bee and True Jackson, VP, Joyful Noise.

She is a a four-time BET Awards nominee, an award winner of the network’s Young Stars award and currently stars in Showtime’s drama: Masters of Sex.
