Located in El Cajon, California, PlayTown Indoor Playground announced the addition of their EyePlay System. Management selected the EyePlay with the goal of improving and diversifying their facility. PlayTown is a center designed specifically for kids under the age of 6; it even includes a safe area for babies who are not yet walking. PlayTown is conveniently located in the Wild West Village. PlayTown includes a variety of enjoyable activities for toddlers and young children including ride-on cars and rollercoasters, push toys, balance beams and a Thomas the Tank Engine Train Table. The EyePlay was placed in the center of the facility, which is in the shape of a rectangle. Through this thoughtful placement, it is now visible to guests from all sides of the facility.
One of PlayTown’s goals is to be clean and safe. Every day, all toys are sanitized with non-toxic and eco-friendly cleaning materials. The EyePlay system is perfect for this type of environment as it is already germ-free. PlayTown offers open play sessions as well as birthday parties. In regards to the decision to install the EyePlay, the Owner of Play Town Indoor Playground Candy Palmer stated, “We are trying to diversify and integrate technology with physical activity... this suits both of our needs.”
According to Candy Palmer, the reaction from visitors has been very positive to date. She points out, “Most have not seen anything like it and are impressed with the level of technology that is displayed.” The EyePlay System offers motion activated technology where children can trigger engaging games and sounds through their movements.
Candy adds, “The EyePlaySystem has been a huge hit with our customers... children and adults alike. We have been able to provide an interactive game system to our customers without sacrificing any of the physical and active play that they come to us for.”
