West Virginia coach Bob Huggins had a difficult afternoon Saturday watching his No. 7 Mountaineers lose to Oklahoma State 82-75. It was their fifth loss of the season — all against unranked teams.

Understandably, Huggins was a bit frustrated. And he showed some of that late in the second half. West Virginia was struggling to gain momentum, and when his team finally got a potential momentum-swinging steal that led to a transition layup, his player was called for a charging foul that gave the ball back to the Pokes.

Huggins was so appalled he dropped cold on the floor in protest.

Does Huggins have a case? Maybe so.

The Cowboys’ Davon Dillard appeared to still be sliding his left foot up the floor before drawing the contact. Should it have went the other way, it would have been two free throws and some needed momentum that could have swung things in the Mountaineers’ favor.

But if it had gone the other way, we wouldn’t have been gifted the most amazing Bob Huggins protest moment of all time.
