Recruitment of Post Graduate Teachers/PGT and Trained Graduate Teachers/TGT-2014 in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas/JNV at various Districts across the Country. The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti-NVS is an autonomous Organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Dept of School Education and Literacy Govt of India, invites Applications from those who are interested and Indian Nationals can apply through Online Application mode using the website 'www.navodaya.nic.in'. 1. Post Graduate Teacher-PGT: 514 Teacher Posts
Subject wise Vacancies: Biology-41, Chemistry-51, Commerce-25, Economics-76, English-53, Geography-33, Hindi-51, History-41, Maths-84, Physics-59.
Educational Qualification: PG or Integrated PG in concern Subject with B.Ed. course.
Salary: Rs. 9300-34800/- GP Rs. 4800/-
Age Limit: 40 years maximum as on 31-1-2014.
2. Trained Graduate Teachers-TGT: 423 Jobs
Subject wise Vacancies: English-88, Hindi-65, Maths-179, Science-53, Social Studies-38.
Salary: Rs. 9300-34800/- + GP Rs. 4600/-
Age Limit: 35 years maximum as on 31-1-2014.
Desirable for PGT&TGT: Working experience in Residential School and knowledge of Computer Application.
Selection process for PGT & TGT Posts: Written Exam/Test and Interview put together.
Written Exam/Test Centres: 22 Centres across the Country,
Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla, Srinagar, Thiruvanantahapuram.
Exam Scheme/Pattern: One paper for both PGT and TGT posts, separately for 200 marks in 150 minutes.
The General Paper: Subject-Common Paper for all Posts PGT&TGTs Objective type multiple choice questions on General English, Hindi(40:20+20), General Awareness(30), General Intelligence, Numerical Ability &Reasoning(30), Teaching Aptitude(20) and concerned Subject Knowledge(80). The difficulty level of the question papers for PGT will be of Post Graduation standard and for TGT it will be of Graduation standard.
There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
