3rd Regional Level Selection Test for Recruitment on Non Teaching Staff 2017 in Govt aided / Sponsored Junior High / Secondary / High Secondary Schools (Except Hill Region) approved by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education / West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. Vacancy Position as per notification-
Eastern Region - Clerk (441 Post) & Group D Staff (738 post).
Northern Region - Clerk (274 post) & Group S Staff (755 post).
Southern Region - Clerk (284 post) & Group D Staff (375 post).
Western Region - Clerk (461 post) & Group D Staff (1034 post).
South-Eastern Region - Clerk (247 post) & Group D Staff (314 post).

Manner of Selection:
Selection to the posts of the Clerks shall be made strictly on the basic of merit. The merit will be determined by the results of the Regional Level Selection Test comprising Written Examination (MCQ Type), and Evaluation of Academic Qualification and Personality Tests with Typing and Computer Proficiency of the candidates in the manner as specified in the below-
Written Examination (MCQ Type) - 60 marks.
Academic Qualification - 10 marks.
Personality Test with Typing and Computer Proficiency - Total 30 marks.
Selection to the posts of the Group D Staff shall be made strictly on the basic of merit. The Merit will be determined by the results of the Regional Level Selection Test comprising Written Examination (MCQ Type), and Personality Test of the candidates in the manner as specified below-
Written Examination (MCQ Type) - 45 marks.
Personality Test - 05 marks.
Admit Card:
Admit Card of the said RLST will be available on the website www.westbengalssc.com or Direct link. Candidates are requested to download the same. Date will be announced in due course.
3rd RLST 2016 - 2017 Instruction at Examination Centrer:
➡If no photograph is present in Admit Card, then the candidates should bring 3 Stamp size photograph with Them.
➡No Candidate shall be allowed to enter the Examination Centre without the Admit Card and ➡Original Photo Identity Card. The examination hall / room shall be opened 30 Minutes before the time specified for the commencement of the Examination. No Candidate who is late by more than 20 minutes shall be admitted to the Examination Hall / Room.
➡No candidate shall be allowed to leave the examination hall for any purpose (Toilet, Drinking Water etc.) Before completion of the examination.
➡Before beginning to answer the papers, the Candidates should write / shade, his / her Roll Number in the space Provided in the Test booklet / OMR Answer Sheet and nowhere else. The Candidate should read carefully the instructions appearing on the cover page of the test booklet, OMR Answer Sheet and check that the booklets supplied to him / her is not defective and if so, may procure another copy from the Invigilator in lieu of first one. The test booklet Should be checked with reference to page number, serial number of the questions and the subject offered by the Candidate in the front page of his / her admit card. Candidate should sign Attendance Sheet and Admit Card and also confirm the presence of full signature of the invigilator in respective places.
Important Instructions:
Admit Cards will be provide to the candidate through Online system.
Candidates must abide by the instructions as may be specified on the cover page of the question booklet or any other instruction as may be printed in the admit cards / OMR Sheet or may be given by the Officer in charge.
No TA / DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing at the examination Centre / Personality Test centre.
Use of Calculator / Mobile Phone / Log Table is not permitted.
Applicant must have carry any one following documents as proof of Photo Identity Card is required at the Examination Centre - (Voter ID Card / Aadhar Card / Passport / Caste Certificate / PAN Card / Driving License / Physically Handicapped Certificates / Any other Card with Photograph issued by Govt. Authority).
