POSITION PROFILE:
Advanced responsibility to develop/deploy mechanical engineering-related simulation prediction capabilities for multi-phase fluid flow applications, including validation engineering studies (set up simulation cases, manage runs/output data, process/analyze results, document analyses, and prepare presentations); serve as mechanical engineering technical lead on development of simulation-based solutions; demonstrate/deploy multi-phase fluid flow applications; customer training; liaise with physics/software teams to develop/test capabilities/product functionality for fluid flow simulation products; mentor junior staff.
REQUIREMENTS:
At least MS in Mech Engg, Aerospace Engg, Ocean Engg, or equiv;
2 yrs exp. in Computational Fluid Dynamics and using data analysis and graphics/visualization tools (can be gained concurrently)
Strong knowledge of script programming (including UNIX/Linux), fluid dynamics, Lattice Boltzmann method, image processing, and CAD geometry.
