Caleb Houston was born at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, but was raised in the small town of Centralia, Pennsylvania located in Columbia County Pennsylvania. His father Maurice Houston was a scientist who was obsessed with the underground mine fires in Centralia. His mother Stephanie (Warner) Houston was a very well known orthopedic surgeon. With his parents always busy with work Caleb spent a lot of his time as a child alone. To keep himself busy he turned to sports.

Finishing second place in the state finals of his freshman year wasn’t enough for Caleb he couldn’t settle for being second best. He went undefeated the next two seasons winning the State Championship in both his sophomore and junior season.
