Many GFW wrestlers perform regularly for various promotions on the independent circuit in addition to GFW's weekly shows. The top GFW stars have guaranteed contracts but the majority of GFW wrestlers are paid on a per appearance basis. The following accomplishments in GFW allows for the winner of a featured competition (e.g. tournament, battle royal, etc.) to be awarded a championship match in the future. The '''Feast or Fired Match''' is a ladder match held at '''New Year's Revolution''' where twelve competitors vie for 4 contracts that guarantees a title shot at the title they win the briefcase for anytime over the next year for three of the cases. The fourth case contains a pink slip with the person who wins that briefcase is fired. The '''BFG Series Playoffs''' is an annual tournament held over the course of September to determine who recieves a GFW Global Championship opportunity at Bound For Glory.
