I might have come a little late to the Hozier party, but towards the end of 2015 the Irish musician’s self-titled debut album became something of an addiction. You’d be hard-pressed to find a finer mix of indie rock, blues and soul, or a more diverse (yet consistently brilliant) album than Hozier.
There is a lot on this album to be inspired by. As a matter of fact, several songs have already made it into the writing soundtrack of two of my upcoming novels. And there is this artwork.
Inspired by the song Jackie and Wilson, it basically implores you to do right by the next generation. Raise them on rhythm and blues. Raise them on Hozier.
