Award season is officially underway for the biggest stars in Hollywood, but closer to home, Instyle paid tribute to some rising stars on Wednesday night.
Both established and upcoming celebrities on the UK scene took to the red carpet at the Ivy Soho Brasserie in London for the Instyle BAFTAs EE Rising Star party.
Kate Bosworth, Caroline Flack and Millie Mackintosh posed up a storm as they walked the red carpet alongside our favourite Irish fashionistas, Darren Kennedy and Angela Scanlon.
While most invitees put on a sartorial show for their red carpet stint, one celebrity who failed in the style stakes was Millie Mackintosh.
The former Made In Chelsea star opted for a pale satin slip dress, which she layered under a sheer, criss-cross pattern dress with long sleeves and a high neckline.
Neither the pattern or clingy satin did anything for the socialite’s lean figure, but it wasn’t all bad.
What she lacked in the outfit department, she made up for in the beauty room with her hair swept back into a low updo and soft, subtle, makeup creating an elegant and understated vibe.
