As the year draws to an end, it’s time to look back on the best-dressed ladies from 2016.
During the past 12 months, we’ve been treated to an envy-inducing selection of A-list style, but some ladies in particular really caught our eye.
It was tough narrowing it down, but here are the top ten fashionistas who we feel led the sartorial charge this year.
Pippa O’Connor
Pippa is one of the biggest style icons in Ireland right now.
The former model has caused dresses to sell out in a matter of hours and hosted sold-out fashion factories across the country throughout the year. Plus she has just launched her own jeans collection Poco by Pippa.
If that doesn’t give her enough reason to nab a spot on this fashionista list, we don’t know what does.
Alexa Chung
Alexa Chung was a familiar face at the FROW of this year’s biggest runway shows throughout the year.
Not only were we treated to plenty of style inspiration during fashion month in February and September, but she also treated us to a new Archive by Alexa collection in M&S.
Alexa’s fun mix of vintage denim and tailored cuts makes her one of our favourite fashionistas to follow.
Amy Huberman
The Hubes is another Irish lady who knows how to dress.
Her penchant for boots and casual chic style has won over plenty of followers who love her fashion sense, plus she has her own jewellery range in collaboration with Newbridge Silverware.
Olivia Palermo
Olivia Palermo is one fashionista who can make headlines with her sartorial choices.
The socialist’s mix of designer and high street makes her one of our favourite gals to follow, especially because she shares our love of Zara.
She’s definitely a woman after our own heart.
Saoirse Ronan
Saoirse Ronan is a great one to oggle on the red carpet.
The Hollywood actress also made our best red carpet list thanks to her stunning emerald green Calvin Klein dress at the Acadamy Awards this year.
It’s nice to see her flying the Irish flag in style!
Maria Walsh
Maria Walsh may not be the Rose Of Tralee anymore, but she still knows how to dress like one.
The former Rose is great inspo for a glamorous affair and her dress from the IFTAs was one of our favourite looks this year.
Gigi Hadid
We don’t really need to explain this one, do we?
Whether it’s on the catwalk, the pavement or the red carpet, Gigi Hadid knows her stuff when it comes to fashion.
Her Gigi X Hilfiger collection is a testament to just how stylish she really is.
Laura Whitmore
Laura Whitmore is another Irish gal that’s earned she style stripes.
The presenter never keeps to one style and likes to mix things up with edgy leather, boho lace and fun and flirty short hemlines.
Victoria Beckham
Victoria Beckham has come a long way since her Spice Girls day.
The successful fashion designer is her own best model as she parades around working loose fit clothes, stylish heels and cosy knits.
She’s one lady you can always look to for a fashion-forward ensemble.
Kathryn Thomas
Kathryn Thomas stole the show as she presented The Voice Of Ireland this year.
She’s a major fan of designer Umit Kutluk for red carpet events, but that doesn’t stop her mixing things up with affordable high street pieces for TV appearances.
