There’s no disputing that stylist-turned-TV presenter Darren Kennedy is a pretty dapper guy. Even when he’s not decked out in a three-piece suit, his off-duty style is impressive.

And his latest clothing collection of menswear with award-winning Dublin tailor Louis Copeland doesn’t disappoint either.

Featuring six suits and two coats, the  DK x LC Autumn Winter 2014 collection is based around the theme of Adventurers and Inventors. Each look has been named after an Irish explorer or those who are adventurous in spirit.

The Ferguson

This season’s hottest shades - burgundy, subtle grey and steel blues – feature throughout, and Darren’s unique personal style is reflected perfectly in the collection.

Each suit has a contemporary fit (no baggy, ill-fitted trousers here) and is made using the finest natural fibres.

And in true bespoke Louis Copeland style, the jackets feature the same unique lining for that extra special touch.

The Brendan

Speaking on the launch of his new collection, Darren said, ‘Our Spring Summer DK x LC ‘14 collection went down a storm both here and in the UK. I got a chance to wear every suit from the collection and the reaction I received was phenomenal.

‘I feel confident that our new Autumn Winter collection is our strongest to date. Both Louis and I have put a lot of work in to this collection, making use of the highest quality Italian fabrics, our combined experience and knowledge to create what I believe is, the quintessential must have winter wardrobe…each piece is a future classic in its own right.’

The Tom

We reckon the blue ‘The Brendan’ will be the most popular with the boys but if you really want to nudge your fella in a more fashionable direction, the checked ‘The Ernest’ and ‘The Tom’ will score him major style points.

The DK x LC collection is available from Louis Copeland stores and louiscopeland.com
