While some believe Aldi’s Caviar Illumination Day Cream gives La Mer a run for its money (around €150 to be exact), it looks like a new release might knock it off its perch.
That’s because the German budget supermarket chain has just released a new range of luxury skincare but instead of using caviar as their base, they’ve moved onto champagne instead.
Named Cuvée Royal, the range contains extracts from premium champagne grapes, which reportedly contain anti-ageing antioxidant components which can help firm and moisturise the skin, and prevent further damage from happening.
The range also contains QT49, a dermis activator that assists in refining skin structure and improving skin softness, tightening the chin, plumping the cheeks and helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines in the process.
Sounds like a win-win to us.
The best bit? Yep, you guessed it… the price.
The Cuvée Royal Serum Concentrate which contains encapsulated gold powder costs just €9.99.
The 24 hour Cream Mouse comes in at €11.99, and the Neck and Decollete Mouse also costs just €11.99.
The bad news? Aldi’s stellar beauty bits usually sell out immediately so you’ll need to be quick if you want to bag this range for yourself.
Champagne lifestyles on a lemonade budget don’t come easy.
The Cuvée Royal range is available in all Aldi stores nationwide from Sunday 9th October while stocks last.
