Hairy armpits are having their moment ladies and its time to get on board.
Although most women would rather tattoo a swastika to their underarms rather than leave the house with hairy pits we have to admit there are perks to the latest trend.
Below are the top nine reasons why you should step away from the razor and let your bushy pits go free.

Why do we get rid of our body hair when mother nature gave us the gift of hairy armpits for a reason?
In times gone by our cave women ancestors needed all the hair they could get in order to survive the cold winters. With fossil fuels slowing running out we may need out hairy armpits faster than we may think so why not jump on board early and keep cozy with armpit hair.
2. Rainbow pits
Instagram is awash with daring rebel women posting snaps of their crazy colored hairy pits.
The trend was started State side but has slowly gained followers across the world. We have to admit, armpit hair looks quite pretty in various pastel shades especially when you match your candy coloured pits with the hair on your head.
3. Fashion statement
Miley Cyrus looked gorgeous in her red dress at the 2015 amfAR Inspiration Gala earlier this summer. But the dress was completely over-looked as the singer posed for pics with her underarm hair glistened freely in the sun.
Shes not the first celebrity to embrace the new trend with Girls star Jemima Kirke also posing on the red carpet with her hairy pits visible to all.
4. Feminist statement
It may be a fashion trend right now but women growing their armpit has been seen a political choice for a long time.
Like it or not, body hair and feminism go hand in hand. If you shave your body hair, you’re a slave to the main stream standards for female beauty.
So if you want to make a feminist statement then why not do it through your armpits?
5. Time saver
Men created razor to distract women as they took over the world, okey so that’s a major exaggeration, but how much time do we spend shaving and grooming every week that could be spent on something more important? If you add it up I’m sure you could thing of something better to be at!

We spend 20 percent of out time shaving and the rest of it scratching. There is nothing worse than an itchy shaving rash. Also why is angry red bumpy skin seen as more attractive than hair? Modern culture is a wonderful thing. . .

The link between femininity and a hair-free body can be misleading. Most people will assume that hairless pits are sexy, while those who dare to bear the au natural look are deemed ‘disgusting’.
Actually the opposite is true. . . . The hair under your arm pits can lead you to finding your ideal man. Armpit hair allows your pheromones to linger on the skin for longer.
Men are instinctively attracted to our natural musk as it signals that you are sexually mature.
Studies have also found that men and women with the most differing natural aroma have the best success rate when trying to conceive children, so why not grow those pits out and meet your prince charming.
