Having stolen the limelight in the first Lego Movie, it was only a matter of time before Warner Animation created a Lego Batman Movie.
The much anticipated film had it’s Irish premiere at the Odeon Point Village over the weekend.
Model Kerri Nicole Blanc was among those who turned out for the premiere with her daughter Kayla.
Boxer Bernard Dunne brought his son Finnian to the screening while Tv3’s Debbie O’Donnell attended with her son Sam.
The animated action flick stars Arrested Development star Will Arnett as the bumbling caped crusader and Ralph Fiennes as Alfred. Mariah Carey, The Hangover’s Zach Galifianakis and Michael Cera also make an appearance.
In the film Batman must save Gotham city from The Joker’s hostile takeover and will have to learn how to work with others…what could possibly go wrong?!
The Lego Batman Movie opens for general release on Friday 10th February with previews on the 4th and 5th February.
