They’re known for their funky approach to food, serving up quality meals from locally sourced ingredients and last night the owners of the Gourmet Food Parlour unveiled their new look restaurant in Swords.

The brainchild of two lifelong friends Lorraine Heskin and Lorraine Byrne, Gourmet Food Parlour has grown from a small start up in Malahide to a franchise with three locations across the city.

As well as celebrating the re-launch of their Sword’s restaurant last night’s party marked the tenth anniversary of the business.

Guests on the night included Gourmet Food Parlour Ambassador and Dublin footballer Paul Flynn, who arrived with the Sam Maguire cup, as well as lifestyle blogger Stephanie Buckley and Jules Mahon, founder of TheTaste magazine.

Guests were treated to delicious Rum and Raspberry cocktails as well as a selection of Carnival style nibbles and each left with a goodie bag.

The Gourmet Food Parlour Swords is now open.
