Set in an old factory building, today’s vintage eclectic California wedding from Chantel Marie is overflowing with love, style, and amazing details! From the girls’ floral head wreaths, to vintage bottles and wood accents, every aspect of this wedding embodies the vintage eclectic look, and it’s absolutely beautiful! The bride,  Kelsie, is here with us today to share her story:

What (or who) helped you most in your planning process and/or on your wedding day?

I had a lot of help from so many people in planning my wedding and so much help on the actual day, I could not have done it on my own! My mom was the biggest help making my dream wedding a reality. But also my family really did so much for me. I am so lucky that I have such a helpful and talented family that did all of the flowers, decorations, lighting and DJing!

What was the most important thing to you when deciding who to work with for your wedding?

The most important thing when deciding who I was going to work with for our wedding was our photographer. I felt that they would be the most important detail to our day. So when deciding who to work with I was referred Chantel Marie and loved her work! Luckily, we were engaged for nine months that I booked her almost right away and we were able to have her shoot everything for us, engagements, formals, and all day on our wedding day! I am so pleased with all of our photos!

What was your inspiration for your wedding details and/or design?

For our wedding I wanted to go for a rustic and natural feel and was of course inspired by so many beautiful weddings on Pinterest and weddings that my family had put together! I love antique bottles and wood so that was most of what I was able to put together for our big day!

What was your favorite thing about your wedding?

Oh my favorite thing?! I can’t just narrow it down to one thing! Hmm I loved our dancing and all the lights and music! We have people tell us all the time that we had the best reception that they have been to because it was just a huge party! I also loved our venue. I was a little skeptical at first because I wanted to have everything outside but it turned out so perfect! I loved it!

What is your best piece of advice for other brides?

The best advice that I have for brides is enjoy it! It really is so stressful and time consuming but it is so much fun and you will miss it! Everyone told me that and I was kind of over planning when it was close and just wanted the day to come so bad but they were all right! I do miss it! And also enjoy your day when it happens! Not everything will be just as perfect as you thought it was going to be but no one will ever know and when you look back on it, it won’t matter! Go with the flow and enjoy your day!

Excellent advice from Kelsie, don’t you think?

Kelsie drew her inspiration from her love of antique bottles and wood accents, which turned out fabulous! Are you drawing your inspiration from any particular items?
