Halloween Haunt at Great America

Each weekend night, California’s Great America transforms into a horror-filled nightmare. From mazes with terrifying creatures around every corner to thrill rides that’ll haunt your dreams, it’s everything you fear and can’t wait to experience. Scaregrove Halloween Festival

Celebrate Halloween with Rec and Park on October 24! Our annual Scaregrove event at Stern Grove is fast becoming one of the city’s premier Halloween destinations for families. Come dressed in your favorite costume and enjoy carnival rides, a haunted house, live entertainment, music, food for sale, hay rides and much, much more! Halloween Ghost Walk at City Hall

Disinterred remains, assassinations and other ghostly lore form the focus of this tour, plus little-known facts such as the cemetery that once covered Civic Center. Berkeley Thrills and Chills Haunted House

Get ready to scream as you enter the scariest haunted house in Berkeley. Come join in the fun as you have a ghastly and ghoulish good time! The Haunted School

The Arts Management Department of Oakland School for the Arts presents its annual haunted house. Due to content, children under ten must be accompanied by an adult. It’s dark and your heart is racing. You’re separated from your friends and lost deep within a house of terror. Fear escalates with each step you take. Every year the Walnut Country Clubhouse gets really spooky for Halloween! Volunteers turn the Clubhouse into the creepiest place around as ghosts and goblins make their annual appearance! Fear Overload’s Scream Park

Winchester Mystery House

You’ll tour the rambling, mysterious mansion at night with only the moonlight, a souvenir flashlight, and your imagination to provide illumination through the bewildering maze of rooms and stairways. Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival

This PUMPKIN MECCA knows how to get its orange on! Every year, picturesque Half Moon Bay bursts into a brilliant sea of orange with the world-famous Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival. It’s the season’s signature event, drawing visitors to the “World Pumpkin Capital” for an epic festival on historic Main Street featuring humongous pumpkins on display, talented “Picasso of pumpkin carvers”, harvest-inspired crafts by America’s top artists, an expanded Locals’ Artists Block featuring fine art and live music, the richest/creamiest/tastiest pumpkin pie on the planet, three stages of entertainment, a home-spun parade and more! Pumpkin on Pikes at Terra Firma Farms in Petaluma

Come on out to the farm for Halloween fun with pumpkin carving, live music, dancing, a corn maze, and more. Pumpkins on Pikes takes place on Saturday, October 25, from 3 to 10 pm. Bring your pumpkin carving tools, blanket, and favorite treat for the dessert potluck. Free pumpkins for carving provided with admission. The carved pumpkins are placed on pikes out in the field, and when the sun goes down, the pumpkins are lit. It’s an amazing spectacle! A BBQ dinner will be available for purchase at the event, too. Join Ranger Felicity Hartnett for a short one-mile hike at sunset with beautiful views of San Francisco.
