gosh, what a very considerate question… hm, as a non-rph blog i might not be the best person to ask, but here are a few things that might help…
run your blog the way YOU want to run it!!! that’s the main thing. make sure to have fun. take on what you can manage. don’t get stressed. post what you like!
try to reblog original content - things that people have made themselves, like gif packs, not gif hunts. icon packs, not icon hunts ( unless they’re just linking to the original packs! ). if you are reblogging hunts, check the sources on the hunt! or check the rph’s terms/info, they may have permission to post.
if you’re unsure as to the original content of something, or it’s not linked or marked clearly, then don’t reblog it!
have fun.
use things like google image search to check if you’re unsure.
tag everything. link everything.
make sure you’re reblogging not reposting - if you’re unsure of the difference, check - this post - also it has cure monkeys, so it’s worth a look anyway!!!
make sure to have a clear ‘what i do’ page, and maybe even slots on your sidebar for taking requests ( if you take requests ), e.g. for things like rp reviews, theme makeovers, graphic requests, etc. ( it also helps to keep your requests at a manageable level! )
