His words went further as he warned the perpetrators "will get what they deserve from their people." The words though, have now been followed up by actions... as RIA reports that Russia’s Black Sea Fleet "will get new submarines and next-generation surface ships", Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said Tuesday, voicing his concern at the increasing maritime activity of the US Navy.
Germany widens travel warning: Says Ukraine is close to war ~ link ~
German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said Ukraine is close to war as his country's foreign ministry warned Germans against traveling to eastern and southern Ukraine and Crimea.
"The bloody pictures from Odessa have shown us that we are just a few steps away from a military confrontation," Steinmeier told major newspapers El Pais, Le Monde, La Repubblica and Gazeta Wyborcza. He added that the conflict had taken on an intensity "that a short time ago we would not have considered possible".

Odessa Massacre was Clean-Up Operation by Kiev coup junta ~ link ~ Odessa regional councilman Vadim Savenko has told RIA Novosti in an interview that last Friday’s massacre in Odessa bore the hallmarks of a Kiev-organized “clean-up” operation against anti-coup protesters. “According to our data, these so-called ultras were in fact active servicemen of the Shtorm and Dnepr-1 battalions who were disguised as football fans. They are recruited from far-right nationalist organizations at the expense of [chief of the Dnipropetrovsk regional administration] Kolomiysky,” Savenko said.
The councilman said the attackers had been dressed as football fans and later put on defense equipment, bulletproof vests and took out firearms when they moved in on the camping protesters.

'I get the War, you get the Money': Who is pushing Kiev junta to fight? ~ link ~
Who is instigating this absurd battle, in which representatives of the two indeed fraternal nations – Russians and Ukrainians – are taking part? It is clear that the Ukrainian army was unwilling to start this so called "anti-terrorist operation" and it remains reluctant to conduct it. Ukrainians revealed themselves to be excellent warriors during World War II (at least three of the most renowned Soviet marshals during that war were of Ukrainian origin). Ukrainians would certainly do a short work out of any foreign invader, had he seized any of their towns, in the east or in the west of their country. So, why is the army unwilling to fight? Because the army is an offspring of the people, and this war is not a war of the people. Rather, it is most obviously a war of politicians, and not even Ukrainian politicians.
Most interestingly, one can notice a certain vile link between war and money, usually made by Western strategists: "Ukrainians, you will get your money, if only you fight the Russians." Of course, there are all sorts of nice euphemisms to avoid making that offer look too crude. But what is the meaning of the following quote from an IMF staff report, quoted in a number of publications in Asia and Europe? "Should the central government lose effective control over the east, the program will need to be redesigned," the AFP quotes the IMF report as saying.
A "redesign," in the IMF language, basically means one thing – you will get no money (or much less than you expected). So, the government in Kiev, whose legitimacy is already in deep doubt, is pushed into waging one more "antiterrorist operation" with the use of tanks, artillery and aviation against the citizens of Ukraine. (Even Western television could not resist the professional obligation to show the heartbreaking images of unarmed civilians trying to stop tanks on their way to the besieged towns in Eastern Ukraine).

The U.S. Supreme Court decision to refuse to hear our case concerning Section 1021(b)(2) of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which permits the military to seize U.S. citizens and hold them indefinitely in military detention centers without due process, means that this provision will continue to be law. It means the nation has entered a post-constitutional era. It means that extraordinary rendition of U.S. citizens on U.S. soil by our government is legal. It means that the courts, like the legislative and executive branches of government, exclusively serve corporate power — one of the core definitions of fascism. It means that the internal mechanisms of state are so corrupted and subservient to corporate power that there is no hope of reform or protection for citizens under our most basic constitutional rights. It gives the green light to the military to detain people without trial or counsel in military installations, including secret installations abroad. There is little left of judicial review of presidential action during wartime.”

On Feb. 21, 2003, a 64-year-old Chinese physician named Dr. Liu Jianlun traveled to Hong Kong to attend a wedding. He stayed in room 911 on the ninth floor of the Metropole Hotel. Liu, who had been treating cases of a mysterious respiratory disease in the neighboring Chinese province of Guangdong, was already sick when he arrived in Hong Kong, and the next day he checked into the city’s Kwong Wah hospital. Liu died on Mar. 4 of the disease doctors soon named Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome, or SARS. But before he died, he inadvertently infected at least 16 people who spent time on the ninth floor of that Hotel.
Some of those people boarded international flights before they knew they were sick, seeding new outbreaks in places like Vietnam, Taiwan and Singapore. SARS had been confined to southern China for months, but once Liu checked into the Metropole Hotel, it was only a matter of time before the first new infectious disease of the 21st century went global.
