Poroshenko claims Ukraine presidency amid unrest ~ link ~
Two polls gave Poroshenko, a billionaire businessman with long experience in government, 55.9 to 57.3 per cent, well ahead of former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko in second place with just over 12 percent.
If confirmed by results on Monday, there will be no need for a runoff vote on June 15.

Donetsk and Lugansk republics unite in "Novorossiya" (New Russia) state ~ link ~
Self-proclaimed People’s Republics of Donetsk and Lugansk have united in a state called Novorossiya (New Russia), the chairman of the DPR Supreme Council, Denis Pushilin has said.
“We’ve signed a memorandum on the republics’ union. We've named the united regions as the union of people’s republics,” Pushilin told Itar-Tass on Saturday.

Abramovic said while the rain lasted in Serbia, there was not a single thunder, which according to him is highly unusual. The rain that fell, he says, didn't appear like normal rain, rather it fell as if someone was unleashing an entire swimming pool each second. This, according to professor Abramovic are characteristics of an artificially created weather pattern designed by the HAARP systems.
"It seemes as if the sky opened, and sea of water fell from it. These were not rain droplets that you would typically expect to see. This was a designed weather pattern which I might add is not the first, nor will it be the last by HAARP." says Abramovic.
Interesting to note, during the same interview for Radio "Snaga Naroda" Abramovic predicted that once the HAARP system is turned off, there would be earthquakes. Two days after his prediction, Albania was rattled by a strong 5.2 earthquake which sent the local population in panic. Many homes were damaged, while Abramovic predicted more quakes to come.

Does the US Constitution permit the Federal Government to own land? ~ link ~
Notice the part that reads, “laws of the United States made in pursuance" of the Constitution. This basically says that all laws and treaties must first be constitutional in order for them to be valid and the supreme law of the land, in pursuance thereof, not in violation thereof.
So does the constitution permit the federal government to own land? Yes it does, but there are very strict limitations. Our founding fathers were very specific concerning federal ownership and control of land. Article I, section 8, clause 17 of the U.S. Constitution gives the feds control of 10 square miles of Washington DC. It further states that land within the boundaries of a state may only be acquired if they first have the consent of the state legislature. The federal government is limited in it’s acquisition of land to four purposes, military forts, arsenals, dock-yards, and other needful buildings. Nowhere in the constitution does it grant the federal government the power to “own” millions of acres. The so called "public lands" that they currently control must be returned to the states.

Yet in the age of information, their propaganda is laughable. Meanwhile the townspeople gather, having replaced their torches and pitchforks with signs and banners. We see this time the battle being fought from a place of higher consciousness. Our weapons of choice are the devastating methods of non-compliance, civil disobedience, and free enterprise. It appears while the smoke is still clearing from what may be the final March Against Monsanto, momentum favors the people.
Tipping points are historically difficult to pinpoint or predict. They often manifest in the form of some event or consciousness action that ignites the minds of the public in a “now I can see” moment. During that exact second, and no sooner, a mass movement locks into a single idea that once cemented in stone, will never die. We are at such a point. The once obscured battle lines in the sand have now been illuminated with neon signs, doused with gasoline, and set ablaze in our collective DNA. Into the future we march knowing only one thing clearly, genetically modified food will not be a part of it.

Hundreds of thousands people have united across the world to voice concern over the spread of GMO foods and crops and to raise awareness over the biotech giant Monsanto’s growing grip on the global food supply chain.
It was not only the fear of genetically modified organisms in foods that knows no boundaries. Activists on five continents around the globe, comprising of 52 nations joined the fight under the March against Monsanto umbrella.
Organized worldwide, peaceful family protests spoke out for the need to protect food supply, health, local farms and environment. Activists also sought to promote organic solutions to food production, while “exposing cronyism between big business and the government.”

The remaining 20 of the EU’s 28 member countries go to the polls on Sunday to vote in the European elections. However, after years of economic crisis and rising unemployment, people have come to question the need for closer integration.
Germany, France, Poland and Spain are among the major European nations voting, while they represent a large portion of the 388 million Europeans eligible to cast ballots and elect the 751 deputies to sit in the European Parliament for the next five years.
Before the elections, opinion polls showed that around 25 percent of the seats would go to anti-EU and protest parties.

Pope Francis has prayed at the concrete barrier Israel is building in and around the West Bank during his three-day tour of the Middle East. The unscheduled stop came after he called for an end to the "increasingly unacceptable" Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

Pope Francis plunged into Middle East politics during his Holy Land pilgrimage, calling the current stalemate in peace efforts "unacceptable" and winning the acceptance from the Israeli and Palestinian presidents to pay a symbolic visit to the Vatican next month to pray for peace.
Francis issued the surprise joint invitation after landing in Bethlehem. In another unscripted moment, he prayed at the Israeli separation barrier surrounding the biblical West Bank town and briefly donned the black-and-white headscarf that is a symbol of the Palestinian cause.
Jubilant Palestinians cheered Francis as he arrived in Bethlehem's Manger Square, shouting "Viva al-Baba!" or "Long live the Pope!" Giant Palestinian flags in red, white, green and black and the Vatican's yellow-and-white flags decorated the square.

Last week hundreds of Orthodox Jews gathered to protest plans for the pope to celebrate a mass in the Cenacle, or Upper Room, on Mount Zion near the walls of the Old City, the traditional location for the Last Supper celebrated by Jesus before his arrest and execution.
The problem? The ground floor of the structure is revered by Jews as the final resting place of King David. Since the British mandate, religious activity at the site has been carefully handled, with Jews, Christians, and Muslims all having access, but religious rituals being excluded. But recently the Vatican has been in negotiations with Israel to (re)acquire control of the site, and rumors have spread that a deal has already been struck. Both Rabbi Yitzhak Goldstein, head of the Diaspora Yeshiva, and Mohammed Dajani Daoudi, a professor at Jerusalem’s al-Quds university, expressed fears about the Vatican’s potential acquisition of the site.
One Da Vinci Code-style conspiracy maintains that in exchange for control of the Cenacle the Vatican will hand over a candelabrum supposedly salvaged from the destroyed Second Jewish Temple.
Abbas to Pope Francis: Israel is ousting Christians and Muslims ~ link ~
The Acting Palestinian Authority Chief Mahmoud Abbas says Israel is forcing both Muslims and Christians out of East al-Quds (Jerusalem).
Abbas told Pope Francis in the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem that Israeli authorities are systematically acting to change East al-Quds' identity and character.
"We have informed his holiness about the tragic situation in ... [East al-Quds]... where Israel is systematically acting to change its identity and character, and strangling the Palestinians, both Christians and Muslims, with the aim of pushing them out," Abbas said.
For his part, the Catholic Church leader said time is now ripe to end the increasingly unacceptable conflict in the Middle East.

A retired cobbler from northern India, Mahashta Murasi, claims he was born in January 1835, making him not only the oldest man on earth, but the oldest to have ever lived, according to the Guiness World Records.
According to indian officials, the man was born at home in the city of Bangalore on January 6th 1835, and is recorded to have lived in Varanasi since 1903. He worked as a cobbler in the city until 1957, when he retired at the already venerable age of 122.
