Here’s the first part of the programme:

Retail Future Home

Working in collaboration with Modefabriek, STUDIO by Judith ter Haar presents an intimate and interactive programme that gives visitors an intense opportunity for in-depth exploration of current developments in retail:

CURATION ROOM

The way that people perceive colour takes on a new dimension in the ‘colour chamber’. Inspired by the colours of the seasons and the garden, Judith ter Haar and her team designed a palette of colours featuring intense and neutral shades that symbolise the colours of ‘earth’, ‘seeding’, ‘growth’, ‘blooming’ and ‘silence’. The colours used in this experience were developed in collaboration with textile dye specialist Connect 2 Colours, while the threads were developed in partnership with the Textile Museum in Tilburg.

RETAIL FUTURE HOME TOUR (30 min) Especially for this edition of the Modefabriek, Judith ter Haar gives a personal tour of her Retail Future Home exhibition on ‘The Philosophy of the Home Grown’, in which she discusses current retail trends, reveals the philosophy behind Retail Future Home and talks about the meaning of the colour chamber.
