As an extension of the festivities that took place during the annual Price City International Days celebration, hosted during the weekend of July 28-30, the Castleview Hospital Kids Day event occurred at Pioneer Park. During this event, Tony Basso GM donated a car that the children attending were invited to paint.

The paint and supplies were donated by Hospitalist Dr. Paul Thayn and Child Life Specialist Belinda Thayn. The duo also supervised the painting of the vehicle. Castleview Hospital is now paying it forward and donating the painted vehicle to the nonprofit car donation program Wheels For Wishes.

According to utah.wheelsforwishes.org, Wheels For Wishes was founded in 2009 and established to benefit charities such as the local chapters of Make-A-Wish. Since the founding, Wheels For Wishes has donated over 25 million dollars to the chapters of Make-A-Wish. This has helped the program to grant thousands of wishes for children across the country that have been diagnosed with any sort of life-threatening condition.
