ADMISSION NOTICE
MASTER S PROGRAM (SPRING INTAKE, 2015)
USAID-funded PCAS-E is a new initiative with mission to support Pakistan’s economic development by strengthening rclcvancc and responsiveness of university products, including applied and policy research and skilled graduates, to the needs of public and private sectors. The Center encourages and empowers women engineers and researchers, and promotes gender equality.
USAID-funded PCAS-E UET Peshawar offers:
* 250 fully ftindcd merit and need-based scholarships (over the project life of 5 years) including admission and tuition fee waiver, monthly stipends for Masters @ US S 200 (Pak Rs. equivalent) and $ 250 (Pak Rs. equivalent) for PhD students. (50 % of the seats will be allocated for female applicants, Pak USAID merit and need based scholarship eligibility criteria will be followed)
* International Exposure for graduates through exchange program of students/faculty with Arizona State University (USA).
Internship opportunities for MS and PhD students. Grants for applied research projects.
Joint research projects with Arizona State University (USA), partner university of PCAS-E UET Peshawar.
Professional certification and short trainings of transferable skills Startup weekends programs Grand business ideas challenge award each year
Applications are invited for admission to Master Program(Full Time) in:
1. Electrical Energy System Engineering
Eligibility
Candidates must have 16 years of education, BE in Electrical Engineering (students with Power Engineering background will be preferred).
Entry Test
All candidates arc required to submit application forms available at ETEA website (http://etea.edu.pk) to ETEA office, House # 46, Street # 5, Defence Officer Colony, Khyber Road, Peshawar Cantt. (Ph: 091-9212321-2) along with prescribed fee of Rs. 900/-.ETEA GAT (General) with at least 50% percentile or GRE (General) International will be compulsory for all the applicants for admission to Master’s Program. Candidates who qualify the ETEA GAT (General) or GRE (General) international shall be required to obtain Prospectus/Application form from PCAS-E UET Peshawar’s Administration Office. No separate call letters will be issued for interview/admission. Applicants should check the Notice Boards themselves for merit list and admission.

* Departmental Subject Test: 31-05-2015
* Departmental Subject Test result: 02-06-2015
* Display of Merit List: 03-06-2015
* Commencement of Classes: 05-06-2015
Admissions are subject to approval by the Competent Authority. Applications received after
due date will not be acceptable.
