A PEEK INSIDE MY MAILBOX

For this post I thought that it would be fun if I put a little something together to talk about some of the beauty related things that I’ve been sent recently. I’m super grateful to everyone and anyone that sends something to my mailbox, so huge thanks to all the brands that have sent me such beautiful products to try and test!

Dior Hydra Life

First up in my PO Box were these beautiful skincare items from the Dior Hydra Life range. Dior were kind enough to send me one of their Sorbet Water Essences and a Sorbet Creme, as well as a Micellar Cleansing Water and Pink Clay Mask. I love this whole collection because as you guys may know, I suffer with dry skin on a daily basis, and the purpose of the Hydra Life range is to give your complexion a boost of much-needed hydration. I think my favourite product from the collection would have to be the Deep Hydration Sorbet Water Essence Serum, this stuff is amazing! It does 3 jobs in 1: it’s super moisturising, but it also has the toning effect of a lotion. Not only that but whenever I use this serum I can see that my face is really glowing, I love it! I’ve also fallen in love with the Pink Clay Mask, it really helps to get rid of any impurities on my face and also works hard to minimise the look of pores. This mask is a pleasure to apply because it’s soft and velvety and feels soothing on my skin. Definitely give these babies a whirl and let me know what you think.

Benefit Galifornia Blush

Can we all just take minute to appreciate how beautiful this blush is!? This gorgeous golden pink Galifornia Blush by Benefit is definitely going to see some use from me this summer. It gives off a lovely natural looking warm glow and I can’t wait to wear this when the sun starts to make a regular appearance here in London. What makes this blush so special is that it smells good enough to eat because it’s actually lightly scented with notes of pink grapefruit and vanilla, a fragrance which amplifies that nostalgic summer feeling even more. Sweep a dusting onto the apples of your cheeks for ultimate beach babe vibes. Get hold of your own Benefit California Blush here.

Lola’s Apothecary Delicate Romance Oils

You guys know that I’m a lover of all things Rose scented, so these babies are right up my street. Lola’s Apothecary kindly sent me one of their gorgeous bath and shower oils as well as one of their body and massage oils. I’m a bath person, so the bath and shower oil is the one that I find most exciting. As soon as I took this bottle out of the box I had an overwhelming urge to jump in the tub right away! I like to splash a few drops of oil into running water right before I get into my bath. Once I’m in I like to shut my eyes and breathe in the fragrance. There’s nothing I find more relaxing than taking a few minutes to escape in a lovely warm bath, especially when the water smells like fresh roses! If you adore rose fragrances just as much as me, then definitely make sure you check out these beauties by Lola’s Apothecary, they will send you straight to rose heaven!

Sarah Chapman Sunday Night Facial Set

I’m the biggest fangirl of Sarah Chapman skincare, so I was super duper excited to receive one of the Sarah Chapman Sunday Night Facial sets in my PO Box. If you’ve watched my video all about my favourite beauty treatments in London, you’ll know that a facial at the Sarah Chapman Clinic is one of my all-time favourite ways to spend some ‘me time’. Honestly, the facials at the Sarah Chapman Clinic are like nothing I’ve ever experienced before, so to have the necessary products in my bathroom cabinet is a dream come true! Within this set is one of the Sarah Chapman Ultimate Cleansers, a Professional Cleansing Mitt, 3D Moisture Infusion Mask and an Overnight Exfoliating Booster. It comes with instructions showing you how to perform the facial step by step which is really handy. Firstly apply the Ultimate Cleanse by massaging it over your face and eyes, then sweep clean by rinsing your Cleansing Mitt in warm warm water and removing the product. Next up apply a layer of the 3D Moisture Infusion Mask and sit back and relax while this baby works its magic. Follow that with 2 pumps over the Overnight Exfoliating Booster to ensure that you wake up with gorgeously soft, glowing skin. If you haven’t tried any Sarah Chapman products before, this is a really great place to start! Try it for yourself and see.

Jo Malone Bloomsbury Set

These colognes are part of the Limited Edition Bloomsbury Set by Jo Malone, and let me tell you, I’m in love. The Bloomsbury collection was inspired by the free spirited artists of the Bloomsbury set and features five nostalgic scents including Whisky and Cedarwood, Blue Hyacinth, Tobacco and Mandarin, Leather and Artemisia and Garden Lillies. They’re all absolutely beautiful scents and it’s hard to pick a favourite, but if I had to choose I would probably say that the Leather and Artemisia scent is the one. On first sniff the fragrance is really fresh and green, but after a while you start to notice the deep leather and amber wood notes within the perfume. These fragrances will definitely make a welcome addition to my perfume collection! Try them for yourself here.

Farmacy Hydrating Coconut Gel Mask

For as long as I can remember I’ve suffered with dry skin and everyday I’m on a mission to inject some moisture into my complexion and give it the boost of hydration that it really needs. When my friend Allana gave me this Hydrating Coconut Gel Mask by Farmacy is exactly what my skin craves, it’s packed with heaps of wonderful natural ingredients including cucumber extract which is rich in Vitamin C and gives a much needed surge of moisture as well as coconut gel which helps to boost your skin’s radiance. To use this mask you place it onto your cleansed face and smooth over the surface. Once the mask is in place you can remove the clear film and leave it to do its magic for 20-25 minutes. After removing the mask you can gently massage any excess formula into my skin. Make sure you give this a go if you suffer from dry skin like me!

Origins Flower Fusion Sheet Masks

As you can tell…I have a thing for sheet masks. These masks from Origins have been formulated to provide the skin with an instant boost of radiance and moisture. They’re packed with natural ingredients including bamboo and flower extracts, meaning that they’re super nourishing and soothing on your complexion. As with all sheet masks, they’re super easy to apply, just unwrap the outer packaging and carefully unfold the mask before smoothing it onto your skin so that it moulds nicely onto your face. It’s recommended that you leave the mask on for 10 minutes, but I tend to leave it on for 20 minutes so that I can be sure that all the goodness has soaked into my skin. Any excuse to sit back with a cup of tea and read a couple more pages of my book is good with me. Origins kindly sent me five varieties of this mask including Violet which helps to soften and calm, Orange Flower to restore a healthy glow, Lavender to de-stress, Jasmine to replenish and Rose to hydrate. You guys might have noticed that I adore anything floral scented, so its no surprise that the Rose is my favourite of them all. Fancy feeling super fresh and fruity? Get your hands on your own Flower Fusion Sheet Mask here.

So those are a few of my favourite things that I received in my mailbox lately. Let me know if you guys enjoyed reading this post and finding out what goodies I’ve been sent. Leave me a comment down below and let me know if you would like to see more of these types of posts from me, I’d love to know what you thought!
