Well not really, unless you’re like me and just really aren’t feeling the holiday spirit!
In my last post I said that DRD had a few more items in their #notgivingaf christmas collection for Christmas on 34th Street and today I’m showing them off as promised! The chair, table and “happy birthday jesus” banner is the rest of the set and I think they’re just as awesome as the outdoor items! I also added the lights with the fuck it sign onto the table and modded it to take the sign out for the shot. The Fiasco table and chair is part of their Athene Dining Set and can be found at the Love to Decorate event.
I’ve recently started blogging for the furniture store Fetch and I really loved the signs that they have but didn’t know what to do with them. That’s when I decided “screw it” and stuck them up on the walls and around the place to give the space a more cluttered feel. The signs can be found at the main store and are great for anything really although I can imagine them looking great in a grungy club type setting!
The drape over the fireplace is from Paper Moon and is available at We <3 Rp until the 31st. I love the extra touch this gives my fireplace and I can tell that it’s going to become like their curtains and featured in almost all of my indoor decor posts!
The clock that is on the mantelpiece is another Christmas on 34th Street item and part of Ex Machina’s Art Salvage collection. I loved the retro feel of the clock so stuck it up there to show you guys! You can change the timezone on it by touching the clock and clicking the arrows and you can turn hover text on or off.
The christmas stocking that I have over the fireplace is from !! Follow US !! and comes in a pack of 4. The christmas tree that I’m using today is from Floorplan and is at The Chapter Four. I really liked the look of this tree when I went shopping there the other day so I picked it up which is rather out of character for me because I don’t really do christmas haha
The presents that I have under the tree today are available at Christmas on 34th Street at the wrapping stations so you can put your presents in a box and give them to your friends! The larger boxes are from The Stringer Mausoleum. The smaller box is from *YS&YS* and the boxes go with the necklaces that they have there so you can have the matching set to give to your friends!
The star above the tree is from Sway’s and was their 2014 Arcade christmas gift and has four colour changing options. The radiator and wall pallet with lights are from Floorplan and the radiator was at the November round of Collabor88 and the wall pallet at the November round of The Chapter Four. I’ve been wanting to blog these since I got the but hadn’t found the inspiration until now!
The dogs that I’m using are from the current round of The Arcade and are by O.M.E.N both dogs are commons and I think they’re adorable! The hanging lights that I have up are by GOOSE and were at the November round of On9. The tray of milk and cookies that are on the table with the lights are from Artisan Fantasy and is their gift for We <3 Rp and can be found under the trees.
Another We <3 Rp gift is the pillow on the chair by [zerkalo]. I have a few of zerkalo’s items in the room today, the rugs on the floor are the Darius Rug3 by them and the frames under the subway sign behind the table are by them as well.
Now on to the outfit!
The boots that I’m wearing in the first picture are the [QE] Cozy Winter Boots Mara Dark that they have for Winter Trend. These Ugg boots are awesome! You have the option to wear them with or without the socks and the wool inserts are optional as well. Today I’m wearing the socks and the inserts as it all matched perfectly with the Glitter Goth Outfit by The Little Bat that they have out for Winter Trend as well! This outfit has leggings as system layers or Omega appliers as well as Slink Physique and the top is mesh with 10 colour options for the jumper (sweater for Americans I think?)
The bracelet I’m wearing is by !Musa! and is called the Christmas&Devil Bracelet that they have out at Totally Top Shelf as a common in their Christmas Gacha. The bracelet comes in 9 colours and the black and red just fit this outfit perfect so I went with that.
The snowflake necklace that I’m wearing today is by Salt & Pepper and is their 10L gift at Christmas on 34th Street . I love snow so I loved this necklace as soon as I saw it. I think I only love snow because I never get to see it apart from in pictures, movies or if a friend puts on their cam and shows me out of their window. I hear it’s a bit of a pain for people who live in it but I think it looks amazing!
The hair I’m wearing today is by enVOGUE and is their Gisselle hair which is a new release at their main store. I love this style for a short hair, the back of it is a lot shorter than the front and I think this is going to become a goto for when I’m feeling like a shorter style!
The headdress that I’m wearing is from ERSCH and is a rare in their Snow&Fire Gacha for the current round of On9. The gacha has two rares and 12 commons which are all just as beautifully detailed as the rare headdress that I’m wearing!
My eyes are the BentBox Lightcatcher eyes and my ears are the Soul Dobby ears. Seriously, I love these eyes and Soul’s ears! I use them more often than not these days!!
I’ve left the skin for last for a reason. The skin is from AKERUKA and is available at Winter Trend and the reason I’ve left it for last is that when I saw this in the blogging items for Winter Trend I loved it so much that I went and purchased the Catwa Annie Vampire mesh head. I’ve only recently got myself the Logo Chloe mesh head and I went and purchased a Lelutka Stella mesh head as well. I’m planning on doing a blog post comparing them at a later date as I find there’s pros and cons to them but the fact that a skin made me go buy a mesh head is a pretty big deal for me. Usually I’m of the opinion that making a skin exclusively for a mesh head and advertising it that way can lose business due to people not having the head and thinking that the skin can only be used with the head and not worn with anything else, but that’s for another post entirely! I went and purchased the appliers for the skin as well so I can wear it with my Maitreya body and Slink hands and feet that’s how much I liked the skin! It’s definitely worth purchasing in my opinion!
