The Queen is back and taking over daytime television! Queen Latifah‘s new daytime talk show, The Queen Latifah Show is set to air on September 16 on CBS. The show is also executive produced by Jada Pinkett Smith and Lenny Kravitz.
She was recently interviewed by the Real Style Network about her upcoming show:
“I think the most important thing about the Queen Latifah Show is Queen Latifahand me bringing my perspective and style to it. I watch TV. I am a TV watcher. I come from a TV watching family. I watch a lot of the talk shows. I watch Ellen. I watch Maury. I watch Fallon. I watch TV. I know what I like. I want to create things that I like… I tend to live real life and I like to see some of that reflected on television. In my life experience, I relate to a lot of different kinds of people. If I can get into and entertained by it, then there are a lot of other people who can be entertained by it. I think the most important thing is for me to feel good about what we are doing.”
