“Kat and Beth are great additions to our People’s Choice family and we are excited to have them host the show,” said Mark Burnett, the People’s Choice Awards Executive Producer for the fifth consecutive year.  “Their energy and charisma are a perfect fit for our audience.”

Winners will be revealed during the live broadcast of THE 40th ANNUAL PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS from the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Katy Perry is the top music nominee with 5 nominations: Favorite Female Artist, Favorite Pop Artist, Favorite Song, Favorite Music Video and Favorite Fan Following. Sandra Bullock leads the list of movie nominees with 5 nods: Favorite Actress, Favorite Comedic Actress, Favorite Dramatic Actress and two for Favorite Duo (one with George Clooney and the other with Melissa McCarthy).
