Nadine Velasquez and Brianne Davis have joined
Barry Sloane
in History’s Six.
Inspired by current events, the eight-episode series, written by Jarhead’s William Broyles and David Broyles, a military Special Operations veteran,
follows a brotherhood of modern American warriors, Navy SEAL Team Six, whose 2014 mission to eliminate a Taliban leader in Afghanistan goes awry when they uncover a U.S. citizen working with the terrorists.
Velasquez plays Jackie, a strong military wife whose husband Ricky (played by
Juan Pablo Raba) is considering retirement from the SEAL Team Six but is called upon for one last mission; Davis is Lena Graves, John Graves’ (Sloane) wife and a hard-working teacher.
Dominic Adams,
Edwin Hodge, Kyle Schmid and
Joe Manganiello are also part of the ensemble cast.
