The trailer for Fifty Shades of Grey sequel Fifty Shades Darker came online this week–and it was a huge hit. Universal announced today that the trailer, which was published Wednesday at 11 AM ET, racked up 114 million views in its first 24 hours across all channels. That beats the previous record-holder, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which had 112 million views in its first 24 hours, according to EW.

Fifty Shades Darker‘s first trailer netted 39.4 million views in the US, with the remaining 74.6 million coming from international regions. The UK and Brazil were the best-performing international markets.

Fifty Shades Darker comes out on Valentine’s Day next year–February 14, 2017. It’s the sequel to 2015′s Fifty Shades of Grey, which made more than $570 million worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo.

The series stars Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey, while Dakota Johnson plays Anastasia Steele. The movies are based on the books by E.L. James. A third film, Fifty Shades Freed, is coming in 2018.

Sam Taylor-Johnson directed Fifty Shades of Grey; James Foley is directing the sequel.
