'''Mohenjo-daro Airport''' ('''MJD''') is adjacent to the archaeological site. Pakistan's national carrier Pakistan International Airlines operates both direct and non-direct flights from [[Karachi]] to Mohenjo-daro. Direct flights run four times a week and take one hour. The non-direct flight makes a stop at Sukkur Airport and only operates on Fridays. The outdated infrastructure of the Mohenjo-daro airport prevents the use of large, advanced aircraft, with the Pakistan International Airlines only using a regional airliner for flights. A one-way ticket can cost not more than Rs.10,000 to/from Karachi. A shuttle bus can drop you at the archaeological site entrance.

The nearest railway station is located in the nearby village of Dokri, which is some 7km away from Mohenjo-daro archaeological site. There are two trains each day briefly stop at Dokri railway station: the ''Bolan Mail'' is run between Karachi and Quetta and has both economical and air-conditioned class, while the ''Khushal Khan Khattak Express'' is run between Karachi and Peshawar and has only economical class. From Dokri railway station, a shared rickshaw or a public van is available for Mohenjo-daro archaeological site.

One can come to Larkana by bus from any major city in Sindh. A taxi to Mohenjo-daro from Larkana is definitely most preferred option and quickest as well and one trip can can cost less than Rs.1,000 if you manage to haggle well with the taxi driver. Mohenjo-daro is located near to 1,264km long multiple-lane National Highway N-55 (the Indus Highway) which runs from Karachi to Peshawar and few roads branching off from Indus Highway and leads to Mohenjo-daro so if you're driving your own car, this is the road to take.
