Serial to Ethernet Connector is virtual serial port technology emulates standard COM ports behavior in such a way that Windows OS does not see the difference between virtual and real ports – the former fully simulate COM port functionality.
You can create as many virtual ports as you wish – the only limitation is your system capability - and share up to 255 devices connected to COM ports with other network users over TCP/IP. Your computer turns practically into a terminal server. Other users in the network, no matter how far they are, can access the data on a shared device as if the device was physically attached to their machine.
Serial to Ethernet Connector allows you to share serial ports for incoming connections, connect ports to remote host and share ports via UDP connection.
6.0 and later versions of the app feature a brand new UI that provides a visualization for connections, thus creating & managing them becomes much easier.
