Several photos from the set in Marina del Rey, California appeared on the web showing red prop trees which were used for the surface of a red planet and a storm scene. According to a crewmember the production will wrap in Los Angeles this week and heading to the San Francisco area for the final week of filming. According to On Location Vacations there was a radio casting call in San Francisco for a big motion picture and shooting will start on 1 May 2012.
