PARIS (Web Desk) – In France, the death toll has reached to 160 and scores others injured following multiple explosions and shootings in Paris.

Others died in a reported suicide blast near the Stade de France and gun attacks on city centre restaurants.

According to French authorities, the terrorists targeted seven places. Five terrorists were killed by the security forces.

France also closed its borders following the killing of over one hundred and sixty people.  Meanwhile, Islamic State (IS) group claimed the responsibility of Paris attacks.

Paris residents have been asked to stay indoors and about 1,500 military personnel are being deployed across the city.

French President Fancois Hollande visited the Bataclan concert hall and addressed the nation over Radio and Television.

Condolences, condemnations

World leaders including US, Russian and Turkish Presidents, British and Canadian Prime Ministers and German Chancellor have strongly condemned the attacks.

US President Barack Obama, speaking to reporters in Washington, called the attacks on Paris “outrageous attempt to terrorize innocent civilians.

Pakistan’s President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif have also strongly condemned deadly terrorist attacks in Paris.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has also condemned the despicable terrorist attacks.
