Hey lovelies, so as you know I’ve been in
Paris this weekend! It’s been a crazy and amazing weekend and I cannot wait to
tell you all about it, if you can’t wait until tomorrow, you can follow me on
instagram where I’ve been frantically uploading snapshots (emshelx). But
first,I felt that I should talk to you about an exciting/different/feminine day
called National Cleavage Day. But Wonderbra believe every girl should be proud of her cleavage and that it's beautiful no matter what the size and I agree. I was contacted by Wonderbra and whilst this is a
very different kind of post for me, and actually, the topic of cleavage is
something quite risqué I believe – I was quite hesitant to discuss this, simply
because of grief that I’ve received over the years for ‘getting them out’ I
didn’t realize that wearing a low cut dress could make someone a ‘slag’. But
you can read more about my experiences with bitchiness by reading my post here.I keep asking myself, why should cleavage be a risqué topic?

All of us ladies
have it, whether it’s big or small , it really doesn’t matter, we are who we are.  Cleavage is something that we all have in
common. This is the message that I think Wonderbra are trying to get across
with their National Cleavage Day in March. It is for everyone. Last year, this
day saw celebrities such as Harry Styles and Olly Murs tweeting about their love for the day.

It’s honestly my pet hate when someone says
‘put them away’. It literally makes me want to scream and pull my hair out, no.
Why should anyone put ‘them’ away. I think it’s things like this that make the
subject of cleavage risqué. I completely understand if someone is literally
falling out of a dress in a ‘cheap’ way, but too many people get offended if
someone shows off even the tiniest bit of cleavage.

I once read in a magazine that it makes you
feel better if you’re wearing nice underwear, apparently if you’re dressed nicely
underneath your clothes, it makes you happier on the outside. That’s why, I
have a ridiculous amount of bras and knickers, and wearing matching underwear
is one of my favorite things to do. Why not. We treat ourselves to a nice shirt
on the outside, so why shouldn’t we ooze in luxury beneath our clothes? I think
lingerie shopping is probably my favourite thing to do. I am the girl who’s
card declined in Victoria’s Secret, who visited the store every day for a week
and now, lucky me, they are opening a Victoria’s Secret store in Leeds (thank
you Trinity Leeds shopping centre, you deserve a medal). I actually feel sorry
for myself, my poor bank balance.

The fact of the matter is, whether anyone
is seeing it or not, you can make any sort of cleavage pretty. I often wish
that I had smaller cleavage so that I could wear those really pretty thing
almost silk bra/tops. But unfortunately, I have to wear supportive things
because otherwise it hurts when I do basic things like walking up the stairs (lol).
I honestly do not think that size matters though, there’s been numerous times that
I’ve wanted to buy an outfit and I haven’t been able to buy it because I look
too revealing because of my cleavage. It is difficult being a size 6 on the waist and having to buy a size 16 bikini top sometimes. Once at school, me and my friend were both
wearing the same tops, yet I got sent home because mine looked more risqué due
to my cleavage being on show. I really do think you can dress for your
cleavage, we’ve all made the mistake of getting too much boob out, but everyone
makes mistakes and has fashion disasters. I’ve often wanted a fully frontless
plunge dress, the kind that celebrities wear on the red carpet (alla Jessie J, see photo to the left)
but they only look good with a small cleavage. It’s like hair, if you’ve got
naturally straight hair you always want it to be curly, and if you’ve got
naturally curly hair you wish that it was straight. I have friends who have had
breast reductions, because of the unwanted attention that having large boobs
have, it’s not always nice to have someone ignore your face and stare right at
your chest. But I also have friends who have had boob jobs, simply because they
feel so much more confident with cleavage. I really do think that our cleavage
does play a large role in our life, it’s a huge part of our bodies and I do
think it makes us feminine, whether you are a size AAA or a DD.

Being asked to be a Wonderbra National Cleavage
Day Ambassador really did excite me, because I have never used Wonderbra before
but I’ve heard that they’re great bras (and they really are).
I was lucky enough to be given one of their bras. I just chose the
prettiest and laciest one. It’s beautiful and baby pink inside, but it’s so
light weight at the same time as being very supportive and giving you lovely cleavage. I love the lacey look
of the bra and it’s so so comfy but glam. Lucky for you, Wonderbra are giving you, one of
my readers one of these bras, to celebrate National Cleavage Day. You can enter
below to win one, p.s it's worth over £30.00 so what are you waiting for!? Celebrate this day with me and Wonderbra.
