COUNTDOWN: 10 DAYS TIL DEFAULT: As our government grinds to a halt while our military continues its endless Muslim wars, while the US trumpets how we control Asia while the Chinese dragon  is snarling at Japan because With Obama Sidelined, China Is Top Force at APEC meeting, the foreign wars and international trade disaster continues rolling onwards with our allies destroying America’s economic engine with immense help from Congress, all our Presidents since Reagan and Wall Street billionaires and bankers.  And we are ‘exceptional’ indeed, exceptionally stupid as today’s news about Boeing show clearly.

I have tracked the Boeing trade news for many years.  It is the bellwether of US international trade used nakedly to bring some tiny balance to our out of control trade deficits.  All Presidents since Reagan have gone to Tokyo to make Boeing trade deals and then to China for the same for this reason.  Then our news owners here would boast about how we have better trade stats thanks to huge Boeing jet deals, both military and civilian.  From a 2008 magazine article written in 2008 by Mike Wiegand blathering about how Boeing and Japan are great partners:

Like many relationships, the Boeing-Japan relationship had humble beginnings, starting in 1953 with the establishment of Boeing International Corp. Boeing hoped to gain a foothold in a promising new market against entrenched competition. The new operation was funded with $1,000 and staffed by five U.S.-based directors. Yet this initial formal presence in Japan was the beginning of a profound partnership and friendship for both the company and Japan. In the past five decades, Boeing and Japan have made aerospace history together—and are setting the pace for defining the future of the industry.

“Japan has worked with Boeing over the decades on both commercial and defense pro- grams,” said Hirofumi Katase, former director of the aerospace and defense industry division, manufacturing industries bureau at Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. “Today, Japanese aerospace industry is jointly developing the 787 Dreamliner and Boeing is offering support to Japan’s Mitsubishi Regional Jet program. We have worked together on many defense programs such as Chinook and Tanker.”

Japan’s aviation requirements are unique. As a small island nation with dense population cen- ters and high air-traffic demand, Japanese airlines have the highest flight cycles on some of the densest routes in the industry. Airplanes must be infallibly reliable, exceptionally capable and highly efficient. Maintenance must be impeccable. Top-notch customer support is critical.

Sooooo….here is today’s jackpot news:  JAL Orders $9.5 Billion Worth of Airbus Jets.  We run a collective trade deficit with the EU.  We run one with China and we run one with Japan.  We spend a fortune protecting Japan and the EU from China and Russia.  In return, they make trade deals that hit us very hard.  They have ceased bothering with even pretending they want trade balance with the US.

And so we fund our military solely to protect our trade rivals and their ocean going fleets while our nation faces total collapse at home.  I am one of the very few online writers about world economic affairs who hammers on the free trade topic nonstop.  It is always on my mind.  Our government deficit is annoying, our trade deficit is FATAL.  And protecting trade rivals is SUICIDAL.  As well as bone head stupid.  But Wall Street imagines they can exist with no American middle class.

From 2005:  Culture of Life News II: BOING BOING BOEING is my very first article about this business.  From 2010:  Boing Boing Boeing: Obama Opens Trade Floodgates For India | Culture of Life News is where I complain that the original excuse for Presidents making Boeing deals is going to fail has come true.  Our trade allies now demand they build the jets.  So the parts are made in Japan, China and India and then assembled in the US. From my blog again is this story, Free Trade: China Finally Gets To Build Most Of Boeing Jet Parts!

One reason Japan is ditching Boeing is due to this little problem:  Do you think the Boeing 787 Dreamliner is safe to fly in? ‹ Japan Today: Japan News and Discussion.  Boeing’s Dream Liner is a Nightmare.  The Japanese fascists think their control of the US Congress and White House will allow them to run an even bigger trade deficit after the US government praised Japan’s deliberate weakening of the yen so they could export more to the US.  So why not import NOTHING, the Japanese reason.

Like with Israel, if they own Congress and the Presidents, and they bought Reagan for $2.5 million back when that was worth something, they will do as they please hoping the US media will support treason.  So far, they are right.  Even Fukushima has been kept out of the news for the most part so far!  Our media backs Japanese imperialist adventures with nary a peep.  They are utterly blind to the dangers of a suicidal Japan.

For like the US, Japan is going bankrupt.  It no longer has a trade surplus to paper over this.  The population is dying rapidly and baby production is collapsing as the middle class vanishes and wages fall.  The existing middle class is like in America, it hangs onto desperately to its existence but the children find little well paying jobs and despair and fatalism is growing with the younger generations either giving up or going into a fantasy world they can run around in while Japan itself dies.

Kamikaze economics coupled with war drum banging is dangerous with both the US and Japan leaders thinking sending the remaining young to war due to no jobs is the solution to all the problems plaguing both nations.  And both have wretched, corrupt political systems that make China’s corruption look good.  At least the Chinese are bribing each other!  Unlike here where foreigners and dual citizens are bribing Congress to do bad things for them.
