We are seeking a Marketing and Public Relations Associate to join our boutique firm providing public relations, marketing and consulting services to small businesses and large corporations locally and internationally.
Job Summary
The Marketing Coordinator position requires a broad range of skills and experience in support of key marketing objectives and goals. In addition to general administrative support, the position will be responsible for special event planning & coordination, day-to-day operations of specific client programs, public relations support and assistance with social media and web campaigns.
Travel Requirements
Minimal travel to Grand Bahama required.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in business marketing or related field
Minimum one (1) year marketing experience
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Graphic design skills a plus!
Primary Responsibilities
Coordinate promotional campaigns via event management, public relations, web and social media in collaboration with clients’ internal marketing team
Support of public relations campaigns which includes the development of press releases
Social media campaign coordination including frequent monitoring of activity on Facebook and YouTube pages
General administrative support
Coordinate and disseminate email newsletters and campaigns
Research media coverage and industry trends
Conduct extensive media outreach
