Zoë Kravitz, daughter of music legend Lenny Kravitz, but an actress and musician in her own right is the new muse for YSL Beauty.
It seems Zoë was the perfect fit for the brand, “Zoe is not afraid to stand up for what she believes – we love her confidence and authenticity.” Said Alexandre Choueiri, president of international designer collections at L’Oréal, who owns YSL Beauty. With Zoë also stating “YSL has always been one of my favourite brands. Their ability to combine the chicest of style with a raw edge has always been to me one of the best ways to express yourself through fashion and beauty. Nothing is forced, nothing is fake, but everything is bold, strong, and unafraid. I’m very excited to work with this legendary and timeless company.”
Her duties will include sharing her favourite beauty tips, make-up looks and picks and appearing in a new video project called “Before the Light” which will showcase the beauty routines of female musicians around the world before they take to the stage; depicting how they use make-up as an art form.
