Sandy Liang, a young designer who at the tender age of 24 is already making a name for herself in the fashion industry recently showed her fourth collection at the MADE Fashion Week, a dynamic platform alongside New York Fashion Week that showcases emerging designers’ work. Liang has developed a range that Fashionista’s Chantal Fernandez describes as lower ‘East Side cool girl meets Chinatown grandmother’’.

“I’m designing clothes for the girl who is who she is and rides the subway to work,” says Liang.

At her S/S 2017 show, make-up artist Grace Lee created the quintessential New York City cool girl look with these Maybelline items. The goal was to showcase a girl whose look is essentially effortless. The method Grace used was to simply brush up the brows, emphasise the lashes and add a glossy lid to complement the flawless skin.

Check out the step by step guide to achieving this simple and fresh look below

Step 1: Grace starts by patting Dream Velvet Foundation all over the skin with a damp sponge to get a velvety flawless finish.

Step 2: For just a bit of definition on the cheekbones, Grace uses Master Contour V-shape Contouring Duo to contour slightly along the cheek to add depth.

Step 3: Grace then uses Brow Drama Mascara to create bold and bushy eyebrows ensuring that each model will have a thick brow. For the lashes, Grace applies several of Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara to top and bottom lashes for extra volume.

Step 4: To finish the looks Baby Lips Quenched is tapped onto the lips of each model.
